Setting is an island with scientists doing experiments. Three giant mantises break open Godzilla's egg and start attacking Godzilla's son. Godzilla intervenes and kills two of them, one flies away. Last one attacks Godzilla's son, and the battle wakes up a giant spider. Giant spider kills last mantis, Godzilla kills spider with a little help from his son. Humans escape island and but cause it to snow using the experiment the scientists were studying, which causes Godzilla and son to hibernate.

Even though this movie was supposed to be all about Godzilla's Son, he actually didn't really do much other than cry and get beat up by the other monsters. Godzilla seemed to save him each time, although the son did help Godzilla escape from a web. This movie wasn't that great, besides the cheesy science. There was also this really weird part where the spider stabbed Godzilla in the eye, but the spike was so far away from Godzilla that it was completely unbelievable.
