Back story about aliens trying to take over world. Anguirus goes to Tokyo Bay but humans attack him and he goes away. Gigan and Ghidorah destroy a lot of cities. Godzilla and Anguirus fight Gigan and Ghidorah. Cockroach Aliens try to destroy Godzilla but are blown up with TNT by main human characters. Godzilla and Anguirus beat up Gigan and Ghidorah until they flee.

Up to this movie, I have to say this was the best of the series. The back plot was a bit 70s, but if you look past it, this movie had so many great special effects, and it was a lot more dramatic than the rest of the movies. This one made me see the true art in these films. Sure they're men in costumes and you can clearly see that, but they're acting out an epic fight between legendary monsters. And sure, the first time you see Gigan he seems a bit ridiculous. You're like "wtf, he just has blades for his appendages, and he can fly" but then in the exact moment that he cuts Godzilla (which is the first time an opponent actually makes him bleed in the series), you're like "Holy Mothra! He's got blades for hands and can fly!" Oh and the other awesome moment: When Godzilla flips Ghidorah and slams him into the ground by holding his three heads. Out of all monsters in the Godzilla world, Ghidorah is so far the most impressive and powerful, and he got OWNED in this movie.
