This is the start of the Heisei series of Godzilla films, and it is quite a different atmosphere. This takes place 30 years after the first film, which is a bit strange but I kind of like it. There's a lot of back story to this film that makes it more intricate than just plain Godzilla destroying a city. It deals with the whole issue on a political floor, which is really brave of them to do. The Super X ship was kinda cool. I like this revival film.
