Godzilla escapes volcano. Super X2 fights him and loses. Godzilla fights Biollante and wins. Godzilla fights Biollante and defeats him, but some inserted bacteria in Godzilla is activated and he weakens and retreats to the sea.

I watched this movie without subtitles because that was the only version I could get my hands on. Of course this made the movie a little confusing, but I got it for the most part. I felt like it had good parts to it, but generally there wasn't such a great suspension of disbelief. A few things happened that were just way over the top absurd or unbelievable. Plus Godzilla's motivation for destruction is lacking (but that's not exactly new). It was alright... but not great.
