This movie really redefines a lot of elements of the Godzilla films. First of all, it explains the origins of Godzilla, who was a dinosaur on an island which was part of nuclear bomb testing. But then it went ahead and redesigned his origin by moving him under the sea somewhere and a nuclear submarine runs into him. Now, this not only makes Godzilla taller and more powerful, but he's also a lot angrier. The thing about this Heisei series is that Godzilla is now the bad guy in all the films. He's just so angry and misunderstood. But the plot to this movie was pretty intricate -though defies Space/Time logic- and I enjoyed it. King Ghidorah has found his way into my heart as the awesome-est monster villain. He just kicks all ass.
